I got my hands on the FUJIFILM Instax Share SP-1 printer about a week ago and was mighty impressed with the ease-of-use and speed of the printer. It prints on the regular FUJIFILM Instax Mini Instant Film – which means each print can be a bit pricey. But hey, you get that Instax look which is hard to be replicated on any normal printer.
Printing is done via a smartphone or tablet with the Instax Share application. Currently the app is only available for iOS and Android devices, so tough luck if you are on another platform.
The printer itself can be powered by either a AC adapter or 2 CR2 batteries. There are two handy indicators on the printer, first one to show how many prints are left in the Instax film cartridge, and the second to show power left on the batteries. Shashinki is having a great offer for this printer at the time of this post, otherwise expect to pay RM530 thereabouts on Lazada and other online stores. The RRP for this printer is RM660.
So did I like this FUJIFILM printer? Yes! I must say that I liked this printer a lot due to it’s size and weight, which fits easily into my camera backpack. This is very handy to get one-of-a-kind autographs or memorabilia if you are on location shooting some event and what-not. If I were to rate it I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars – if the price was a wee bit cheaper I would be inclined to give it a 5 out of 5!
